Luis Alejandro Quintero receives the Award for Academic Excellence from Gericó Academy

Bogotá lawyer Luis Alejandro Quintero Sáenz, founding partner of Q&Q Legal, has received the Award for Academic Excellence from Gericó Academy — Best Student of the Next Generation class of 2025–2026 — at the 10th anniversary of the Legal Leadership Awards. The framed diploma, signed by Marc Gericó, Founder & Executive Director, names him in full and cites his outstanding performance, dedication and commitment to excellence in law firm management and leadership.

The recognition places Quintero among the academy’s standout participants in a program devoted to the next generation of legal leadership. He is also a finalist for Practice Leader of the Year – Latin America at the same awards night, a result that remains pending.

The diploma. Gericó Academy’s certificate is titled Award for Academic Excellence and identifies the Next Generation class of 2025–2026. It was presented at the anniversary edition of the Legal Leadership Awards. Colombian Herald reviewed a photograph of the diploma provided for this report.

The lawyer. According to Q&Q Legal, Quintero practices fiscal liability, disciplinary law, state contracting and public litigation. He studied at Universidad Externado de Colombia, teaches at Colombian universities and is the author of Control y responsabilidad fiscales (Editorial Temis). Gericó Associates had already listed him among four finalists in the Practice Leader of the Year – Latin America category, alongside Mauricio Olaya (Peru), Mauricio París (Costa Rica) and Wuandy Vargas Guevara (Peru).
