With silencer! A taxi driver was murdered while buying a soda at El Rodeo

Minute30.com .- The tranquility of the El Rodeo neighborhood, in Comuna 15 (Guayabal), was interrupted by a hitman attack that claimed the life of a 59-year-old man. The incident occurred on the afternoon of this Friday, January 16, on Calle 2 and Carrera 55, where the victim was approached by “professionals” of the crime.

According to the official report, the man was driving a taxi-type vehicle. Upon arriving at a commercial establishment in the sector, he parked the car and got out to buy a soda, a moment that his perpetrators took advantage of to execute the plan.

Silencer attack: A professional “modus operandi”

Witnesses from the sector reported that, while the victim was waiting for his request, two subjects aboard a high-displacement motorcycle arrived at the scene. Without saying a word, the grillman pulled out a firearm and shot the man repeatedly and they fled the scene.

A detail that has caught the attention of Sijín investigators is that the criminals would have used a sound suppressor, a silencer, which prevented the detonations from generating an immediate alert in the neighborhood and facilitated their quick escape from the site.
