Next Thursday, January 22, the heart of Colombia will beat to the rhythm of its champions.

Bogotá will become the epicenter of national sports to celebrate the thirteenth edition of the Altius Awards, the ceremony that has been celebrating the highlights of the sports season for 14 years.

Beyond medals and records, the Altius Awards have evolved to embrace a 360° vision of sport.

In this 2025 edition, the organization reaffirms that success is not only measured on the tracks or fields, but also in the social impact, the economy and the culture that athletes generate as life models.

The gala will award a total of 12 Gold, Silver and Bronze statuettes in its main categories, divided to give visibility to both the disciplines that are part of the Olympic program and those that are not.

Excellence will be evaluated under strict parameters of international results and citizen behavior.

The categories that will define the night are Athlete and Promise of the Year, with distinctions in Olympic and non-Olympic sectors.

Likewise that of Life and Work, a tribute to the legends who have left an indelible legacy for new generations.

Special Award, is intended for extraordinary milestones of teams or institutions outside conventional parameters.

The Altius 2025 Awards are not only a trophy presentation, but a recognition of the effort, dedication and values ​​that sport contributes to the construction of Colombian society.

The sports federations have already nominated their best exponents, and the expectation is growing to know who will win the maximum recognition for the country’s sporting excellence.
