In order to clarify doubts regarding the contracting process for the new public lighting operator in the city of Cali, the Attorney General’s Office went to the headquarters of the Public Companies – EMCALI – where it collected information on the subject and the way in which the service is currently provided.

During the visit, a team from the First Delegate for Public Service Surveillance requested documentation, raised concerns and inquired about the technical and legal studies carried out to date.

Likewise, within the framework of the preventive surveillance that precedes the contracting and provision of the public lighting service, the servers of the control entity made requirements about the modernization plan and the existing contractual alternatives.
