Minute30.com .- In a milestone for public health and the department’s infrastructure, Acuavalle SAESP announced the closing of a 2025 period marked by a historic transformation in its aqueduct networks. Under the premise that access to water is not only a question of quantity, but of safety and well-being, the entity executed an aggressive modernization plan that prioritized the elimination of risk materials.

90% of the aqueduct replacements carried out during the last year consisted of the definitive replacement of the old asbestos-cement pipes. This material, whose replacement is a national priority for health reasons, has been replaced by modern infrastructure that guarantees the purity of the vital liquid.

A commitment to the well-being of homes

This renewal is the fundamental pillar to offer a reliable service. Thanks to this effort, the entity managed to purify and distribute the impressive figure of 61,360 million liters of water (equivalent to 61,360,580 m3) under the strictest quality standards.

“So that the people of Valle del Cauca open the tap with complete peace of mind, our team collected more than 215,490 quality tests in all municipalities,” said Jorge Enrique Sánchez Cerón, manager of Acuavalle, highlighting the technical rigor that supports every drop of water that reaches the homes of the Valley.
