Minute30.com .- A violent execution with a firearm occurred on the night of Sunday, November 2, in the Pedregal neighborhood, jurisdiction of the Doce de Octubre in Medellín. The victim, identified as alias “El Mico”, 45 years old, was attacked in the middle of a public road, in the La Tasca park sector.

Crime, a bloody reckoning?

“El Mico” received a burst of shots that totaled twelve wounds, distributed in vital points such as the neck, side, back, head and upper extremities. The violence of the attack, added to the discovery of nine vanillas of different calibers and a projectile at the scene, suggests that it was an internal settling of scores.

Witnesses reported that several subjects got out of a vehicle, killed the victim and fled in the same car to an unknown direction. In addition, the alleged attackers took the victim’s motorcycle, adding the theft to the criminal scene.

The Victim had a history of Homicide

It has been revealed that the victim, who lived in the sector, had a significant judicial past: five years ago he had been released from prison, where he served a sentence for the crime of homicide, and was currently serving house arrest.

The Police, who arrived at the scene after the call from the citizen, found alias “El Mico” lying on the floor. Despite the violence of the attack and the presumed theft of the motorcycle, personal belongings such as his cell phone, a watch and two gold bracelets were found next to the body.

To date, no arrests have been made for this homicide. The authorities are investigating the victim’s past to clarify the authorship and motives for the murder.
