Medellín already smells like custard and buñuelo. This Friday, November 28, the moment most anticipated by thousands of families will arrive: the lighting of the EPM Lightings, a light show that once again turns the city into a national and international Christmas benchmark.
The event, which will take place in Parques del Río starting at 6:00 pm, will be a free and open meeting for those who want to enjoy the official start of the holiday season.
In the company of the mayor of Medellín and president of the Board of Directors of EPM, Federico Gutiérrez Zuluaga, and the general manager of the company, John Maya Salazar, the city will witness the activation of more than 8 million light bulbs, 25,000 luminous figures, 600 kilometers of LED hose and 839 decorative posts that will give life to the concept “At Christmas, Medellín loves you”, the central proposal of the EPM Lightings of this year.
