Luis Rubiales, the former president of the Spanish Football Federation who kissed Jenni Hermoso in a celebration after winning a title, had eggs thrown at him at the presentation of his book.

Rubiales was presenting his book ‘Matar a Rubiales’ with his editor Gonzalo Sichar, when suddenly a man began the attack.

With a hood on, with which he intended to cover his face, he threw the first egg that went off course and hit the screen.

A second egg managed to hit Rubiales’s back and ended up completely ‘distorted’ on the same screen.

And a third shot, which went straight to Rubiales’ face, was stopped by his editor with his hand.

At the close of the event, Rubiales declared to some media present that the person responsible for the attack had been a relative of his.

According to the former director, he is “a real uncle of mine. His name is Luis Rubén,” who he added is a man of the same age as him.

Finally, in the midst of his fury over the attack at the book launch, he added that the person responsible for the attack “is deranged.”
