The start of the week has been critical for drivers traveling through the north of Medellín. In the morning hours of this Monday, February 16, a traffic accident was reported on the North Highway, specifically near the North Terminal.

The accident, which is the subject of investigation by the traffic authorities, has caused the total closure of the road in the south-north direction, generating a traffic jam.

Due to the magnitude of the incident, mobility in this important road corridor is reduced and the authorities have had to implement emergency detours.

The authorities suggest taking Carrera 65 or Regional Avenue as alternative routes to continue the journey north.
