The District Mobility Secretariat informs citizens of the implementation of the new ‘peak and plate’ rotation for the first half of 2026, which will be in effect from January 5 to June 30. The measure will maintain its usual hours from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with the exception of weekends and holidays.
Distribution by days
• Monday: vehicles with plates ending in 1 and 2.
• Tuesday: 3 and 4.
• Wednesday: 5th and 6th.
• Thursday: 7th and 8th.
• Friday: with plates ending in 9 and 0.
A pedagogical week will be held from January 5 to 9, 2026, during which mobility agents will inform and guide drivers about the new rotation, without imposing sanctions. As of January 13, the control phase will begin and the corresponding sanctions will be applied to those who fail to comply with the measure.

The group of exempt vehicles in Decree No. 4112.010.20.497 of July 1, 2021, added by Decree 4112.010.20.914 of November 20, 2021 and other administrative acts that add or modify it.
Emergency vehicles in accordance with the definition contained in Article 2 of Law 769 of 2002, in addition to operational vehicles duly registered, identified and conditioned for emergencies belonging to Civil Defense, Volunteer Firefighters, Red Cross, ambulances duly registered as such in the traffic license and with the RUNT and other relief agencies.

Vehicles that have been granted an exemption from the restriction, which transport people with disabilities or reduced mobility, do not require a new application, unless there is a change of vehicle. In any case, when the competent authority requires the driver of the vehicle during its journeys, he must be accompanied by the person with a disability or reduced mobility, for whom the accreditation of said vehicle was issued, under penalty of applying the provisions of literal C, code C-14 of Article 131 of Law 769 of 2002, modified by Article 21 of Law 1383 of 2010 and codified under Resolution No. 3027 of 2010, issued by the Ministry of Transportation.
Hybrid and electric vehicles parameterized by fuel type electric, gasoline/electric or diesel/electric.
