A guarantee control judge in Cali sent Cristhoper Victoria to prison, accused of having attempted on the life of a man during a violent event that occurred in the south of the capital of Valle del Cauca. The attack, which would have been committed with a firearm, left the victim with the total loss of one of his eyes.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, the events were recorded on April 7, 2025 in the sector known as La Invasión Florida, in the Comuneros II neighborhood, where the defendant today allegedly shot at a person with whom he was sharing moments prior to the attack.
After being seriously injured, the victim was rushed to a healthcare center, where medical personnel managed to save his life, although it was not possible to prevent the loss of his eye due to the severity of the injury.

The investigative work made it possible to collect evidentiary material elements and physical evidence that would link Victoria to the attack. As a result, uniformed National Police officers captured him on January 9, 2026 in the El Diamante neighborhood, also in Cali.
During the preliminary hearings, a sectional prosecutor charged him with the crimes of attempted homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms. However, the accused did not accept the charges made by the accusing body.
Despite this, the judge considered that there were sufficient merits to impose a security measure in prison, while the judicial process against him progresses.
