A new case of alleged harassment on board a commercial flight has generated outrage on social networks. According to a complaint published on the social network

According to the complaint, the incident occurred at night, when the passenger was resting in her seat. The woman reported that she woke up after feeling contact on her face and, when she reacted, she realized that the man traveling next to her was kissing her without her consent.

Immediately, the passenger alerted a crew member about what happened. The account that made the situation public assured that the response received from the flight attendant was allegedly that “I couldn’t do anything.”

The publication states that the flight corresponded to route AV222 and the alleged aggressor is identified as a man who occupied the adjacent seat.

After the case went viral, dozens of users expressed their rejection and questioned the airline’s actions. The complaint also brought to light the lack of clarity regarding care protocols for cases of sexual or gender violence during flights.

However, so far it has not been reported whether the case was brought to the attention of the judicial authorities or whether the named passenger was identified or detained.
