The Attorney General’s Office charged David Valencia Cochero as allegedly responsible for the crime of manslaughter, which would be related to the events that occurred on November 18 in the town of Suba, in the northwest of Bogotá, when he ran over a young man with his vehicle and caused his death.

According to the investigation led by a prosecutor from the Life Unit of the Bogotá Section, Valencia Cochero would have tried to flee from a group of people who were throwing blunt elements at him and seeking to attack him. In the middle of that maneuver, he hit the woman with the car.

The defendant, who voluntarily appeared before the Attorney General’s Office, did not accept the charge against him.
