Minute30.com .- The tranquility of the La Iguaná sector was interrupted on the night of this Thursday, January 1, when the detonations of a firearm alerted the inhabitants of the area. After 7:00 pm, a 31-year-old man, known by the alias ‘Caramanta’, was murdered in the middle of the street.

The events occurred specifically on the pedestrian path of Carrera 65 and Calle 59, on the concrete stairs that serve as access to Cerro El Volador. When the Police arrived at the scene, they found the lifeless body of the man, from the municipality of Caramanta, lying on the concrete, surrounded by ballistic evidence.

A direct attack: He received seven hits

According to witnesses, the body revealed the brutality of the attack. The victim had seven wounds distributed in vital areas: a hole in the neck, two in the head, two more in the face, one in the mouth and a cut on the right shoulder.

At the crime scene they found two vanillas and a projectile. Witnesses also say that no belongings or cell phone equipment were found on the deceased, so it is not ruled out that, in addition to the attack, his attackers had stripped him of his personal belongings.

Alias ​​“caramanta” would have paid “cana”

Alias ​​’Caramanta’, who was wearing blue jeans, a white sweater and tennis shoes at the time of the attack, had a criminal record that could suggest a possible settling of accounts.

According to preliminary information, the man had a history of aggravated domestic violence and homicide. For this last crime, it was learned that he would have served an 8-year sentence in a prison facility.
