After five months of covert monitoring, the Cali Metropolitan Police managed to dismantle the criminal structure known as ‘Los LS’, responsible for homicides, micro-trafficking and forced displacement in the east of the city.
Eight people were captured during search procedures in the Llano Verde, PĂzamos and Puertas del Sol neighborhoods. At least two homicides, an attempted murder and the monthly sale of around 16,000 doses of narcotics, including marijuana and cocaine derivatives, are attributed to this organization.
Investigations revealed that criminals used minors to commit crimes, especially in the sale of drugs in parks, school environments and sports spaces. Among those captured are people identified with the aliases ‘Yustin’, ‘Rajado’, ‘Franco’, ‘Miguel’ and ‘Mamberroy’, the latter identified as the one who ordered homicides to maintain control of micro-trafficking.
