Minute30.com .- A cowardly attack ended the life of a homeless man on the morning of this Sunday, January 11. The crime occurred shortly after 7:00 am on Calle 55 and Carrera 37, in the middle of the street, where the victim was surprised while resting on a platform.

Thanks to the quick reaction of the Police and monitoring by security cameras, the alleged perpetrators are already behind bars.

The attack: Without saying a word

According to unofficial versions, the perpetrators were moving on foot through the sector when they saw the victim, who was sleeping soundly. Without any discussion or words, the attackers approached him and stabbed him multiple times, leaving him lifeless at the scene instantly.

After committing the homicide, the subjects fled on foot. However, the uniformed officers managed to intercept and capture the alleged aggressors a few blocks from the scene of the events.

About the victim

The deceased, whose identity could not be established at the scene (CNI), was a dark-skinned man wearing a black T-shirt and blue mohawks. Neighbors in the area stated that they did not know him, so it is presumed that he was passing through the area.

Those captured were transferred and left at the disposal of the competent authority, where they must answer for the crime of homicide. The victim’s body was taken to Forensic Medicine for full identification.
