Minute30.com .- In a quick intervention by the authorities in the capital of Chocó, the National Police managed to capture in flagrante delicto two women, aged 43 and 23, who were caught violently attacking a citizen inside her home.

The events were recorded on January 2, 2026 in the Tomás Pérez neighborhood, when units of the Child and Adolescent Protection Section were alerted by the radio station about a public order situation in one of the residences in the sector.

Home invasion and assault

Upon arriving at the scene, the uniformed officers found a violent scene: the main door of the house had been broken into. Upon entering to safeguard the lives of the occupants, the agents found the two captured physically and verbally attacking another woman, who is allegedly the owner of the property.

Thanks to the timely complaint from the neighbors and the reaction of the patrol, the personal injuries were prevented from becoming serious. The two women involved were immediately transferred for prosecution.

Lieutenant Colonel Cesar Alberto Lemus Pinto, commander of the Chocó Police (E), highlighted the effectiveness of the operation and asked the community not to take the law into their own hands:

“We reiterate our call to citizens to report any criminal act through line 123 or cell phone 3212412828. Timely reporting is our best tool to prevent violence,” said the senior officer.

The detainees were placed at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office to answer for the crime of personal injury and, eventually, for violation of another’s room.
