The Medellín Mobility Secretariat has called on citizens to plan their trips in advance, due to the partial and total road closures, which will occur during the next weekend due to the agenda of cultural and sporting events.
The mayor’s office recommends prioritizing the use of public transport and abiding by temporary signage to avoid congestion.
Ritvales 2025: Closure of Railway Avenue
The Ritvales festival will be the event with the greatest road impact, with closures that will last for almost three days on Avenida del Ferrocarril, between 73rd and 77th streets.
Assembly and Disassembly: Total closure from 9:30 pm on Friday, October 31 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 1 (assembly), and then on Monday, November 3 between 6:00 am and 8:00 am (disassembly).
Main Event: The closure will remain in place for the duration of the festival, which runs from 3:00 pm on Saturday to 6:00 am on Monday, November 3.
The authorities insist that festival attendees avoid using private vehicles due to the expected high influx.

Asics Golden Run 2025: Race in Las Vegas
On Sunday, November 2, the Asics Golden Run 2025 athletic race will take place, with 10K and 21K courses.
Impact Schedule: The competition will take place between 7:00 am and 10:00 am

Home Zone: The starting point will be the Eafit University goal, on Carrera 48 (Avenida Las Vegas).
Mobility: Impacts are expected on some public transport routes and on Line 2 of Metroplús. A total of 58 traffic agents will accompany the event to guarantee road safety.
Macondo Awards 2025: Closings in the Center
Also on Sunday, the celebration of the Macondo Awards 2025 will involve total closures in the Center of Medellín.
Affected roads: Restriction on 41st Street between 57th and 62nd Streets (northern carriageway), and on 62nd and 57th Streets between 41st and 42nd Streets.
Validity: Assembly closures will begin at 6:00 am on Saturday, November 1 and disassembly will end at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 3.
Citizens are recommended to take alternate routes, especially in the downtown area, during this festive long weekend.
