The Medellín Mobility Secretariat announced temporary road closures in the northwest of the city, specifically on the Doce de Octubre, on the occasion of a musical event that will take place in the days after Christmas.
According to the transit authority, the restrictions will apply from 6:00 in the morning on Thursday, December 25 to 6:00 in the afternoon on Friday the 26th, due to the assembly, development and disassembly work of the event called “Los jetos con Richy”, led by urban artist Ryan Castro.

The road closures will affect several sections of the Pedregal sector, in the vicinity of the SENA. The roads intervened will be Carrera 70 between streets 104 and 106, as well as streets 104A, 104B and 105A, between Carrera 70 and Carrera 72A. During this period, the closure will be total, so drivers are recommended to take alternate routes.
According to official information, the event will take place between 5:00 pm on Thursday and 5:00 am on Friday, and will have an approximate capacity of 500 people.

Although the organizers did not request permanent accompaniment from traffic agents, the Mobility Secretariat assured that it will carry out preventive monitoring to minimize the effects on mobility and guarantee road safety in the area.
The authorities called on citizens to plan their trips in advance, respect temporary signage and abide by the recommendations of authorized personnel.
