Minuto30.com .- A 48-year-old man died in the early hours of this Friday, November 21, 2025 in the Villanueva neighborhood, in the center of Medellín, after falling from a building in circumstances that are being investigated by the authorities.

According to unofficial reports, the events began hours before the discovery, when the man allegedly threatened his partner with jumping into the void if she did not agree to have sexual relations. When the woman refused, she left.

When she did not find him hours later, the woman notified the authorities, who began a superficial search in the area and, when unsuccessful, left. Seeing that the man did not return to his apartment as the morning progressed, the couple returned to look for the police.

The body was eventually found on the roof of a neighboring house. Neighbors of that home indicated, under unofficial versions, that they heard a “thud” around 3 in the morning, the time when the fall is presumed to have occurred.

Sources close to the victim indicated that, when the man drank liquor, he tended to become violent. Authorities are working to determine if the fall was accidental, the result of a fight, or if it was a completed suicide.
