Minute30.com .- The Minister of Transportation, Mafe Rojas, announced this Saturday, November 15, “the fulfillment of the promise” of total reopening of the Vía al Llano. As of 5:00 pm, the two lanes of the road at the crucial kilometer 18 were once again enabled for traffic, restoring connectivity to the region.

Minister Rojas extended her recognition to the Invías and ANI teams, in coordination with the Ministry, for the discipline and efficiency with which they assumed the commitment to stabilize the area.

Speed ​​restrictions

Although the road has been reopened, traffic authorities maintain strict measures to guarantee safety. The Ministry of Transport and the Police recommend that travelers: maintain a maximum speed of 30 km/h, avoid overtaking and follow all instructions from the Traffic Police and the dealer. Invías’ work on the slope and on the signage continues.

The successful reopening of kilometer 18 was possible thanks to the joint and joint effort between the Ministry of Transportation, the ANI, Invías and the Traffic Police. This inter-institutional collaboration seeks to guarantee a Vía al Llano that is safe, stable and permanently at the service of travelers and communities of the Eastern Llanos.
