The traditional Intermunicipal Football Tournament of Antioquia, in its sixtieth edition, successfully completed its qualifying phase and has defined the teams that will compete in the Final Phase.

The event, which this year pays tribute to Juan Manuel Gómez Botero, brought together the best teams from the subregions, who are now preparing for the great football festival of the towns.

The last places to be defined were for the representatives of the Southwest of Antioquia, with Pueblorrico being crowned subregional champion and La Pintada securing the ticket as runner-up, thus completing the select group of finalists.

The venue for the grand final will be the municipality of Caldas, and the event is scheduled from January 25 to February 1, 2026.

The eleven classified teams are the basis that will give life to the “People’s World Cup”, highlighting the presence of the current champion, El Santuario.

The list includes El Carmen de Viboral and Marinilla on the East; Gómez Plata for the North; Segovia and Nechí in the Northeast and Magdalena Medio; They push for the West; Bello representing the Metropolitan Area; and Cañasgordas who achieved their classification via repechage.

Before the ball rolls, the excitement will focus on the draw and technical conference. This will take place on Friday, December 12 at 11:00 am in the Orama building.

In this crucial meeting the groups and the official calendar of the Final Phase will be defined.
