The traditional Antioquia Intermunicipal Football Tournament, in its sixtieth edition, has defined the groups with the twelve protagonists who will fight for the title in the Final Phase.
The event, which this year pays tribute to Juan Manuel Gómez Botero, will bring together the best teams from the subregions.
The expectation is focused on the municipality of Caldas, which will be the headquarters of the great football festival scheduled from January 25 to February 1, 2026.
The excitement for the “People’s World Cup” reached its peak this Friday, December 12, with the official draw and the technical congress taking place at the Orama building in Medellín.
This crucial meeting brought together the representatives of the 12 classified municipalities to establish the three groups and the official calendar of the Final Phase.
The base of the tournament includes the current champion, El Santuario, along with other notables such as El Carmen de Viboral, Marinilla, Gómez Plata, Segovia, Nechí, Sopetrán, Bello, Cañasgordas, Pueblorrico and La Pintada, in addition to the host Caldas.

The draw showed a balanced group distribution with attractive duels from the initial phase.
Group A was made up of Sopetrán, Marinilla, La Pintada and Gómez Plata, promising a start with representation from several subregions.
For its part, Group B will be one of the most watched, as it includes the current champion, El Santuario, along with Segovia, Cañasgordas and Bello, configuring a high-level challenge for the defending champion.
Finally, Group C is presented as a quadrangular of great interest, since it is made up of Pueblorrico, Nechí, El Carmen de Viboral, and the host of the contest, the municipality of Caldas.
The inclusion of the host team in this group ensures that the first phase matches are experienced with a special intensity and atmosphere in their stands.
