The Colombia Women’s Senior National Team has officially begun its concentration with a view to the third date of the CONMEBOL Nations League 2025-26.
The first field day took place this Monday, November 24 at the Bolivia 2022 High Performance Center, under the direction of Professor Ángelo Marsiglia.
The day initially featured the 12 players who arrived between November 22 and 23, marking the formal start of preparations to face their next rival.
The training, which started at 9:30 am, focused on the group’s physical and tactical preparation.
The practice was developed in several phases, starting with neuromuscular activation and then progressing to a block of work in small spaces.
The final and most crucial part of the session was dedicated to tactical exercises by positions and 5 vs. duels. 5, with the aim of fine-tuning the team’s coordination and game plan for international competition.

After finishing the activities on the field, the coaching staff and some players spoke to the national media.
The coach, together with the soccer players Juana Ortegón and Manuela Vanegas, discussed the consolidation of the group and the objectives for the closing of the sporting year.
Topics such as rival analysis, the importance of returning to competition and the expectations surrounding the team at this stage were also addressed.
The roster of concentrated employees continues to grow with the incorporation of new figures. The players who spent the day on Monday, November 24 in concentration include figures such as Daniela Arias and Carolina Arias.
Likewise, Daniela Montoya, Marcela Restrepo, Jorelyn Carabalí and Manuela Vanegas, among others.
With all of the 20 players already mentioned joining the discipline, the Colombia Women’s National Team will intensify its preparation to ensure optimal performance in the Conmebol Nations League 2025-26.
