The Colombian soccer team has begun its concentration and preparation in the city of Fort Lauderdale, United States, with a view to the two commitments it will face on this FIFA date.
The national team settled at the Inter Miami Sports Headquarters, where under the orders of the coaching staff it began its first training sessions.
On this initial day, 20 of the summoned players reported to begin the work cycle.
The training focused on an adaptation and fine-tuning phase. The footballers began with exercises in the gym, focused on muscle recovery and injury prevention, vital after the commitments of their respective clubs.
Subsequently, the group went to the playing field, where the session continued with joint mobility exercises using the ball, which allowed a first contact with the ball and physical activation.
As the day progressed, the intensity increased with the development of technical-tactical activities.
The coaching staff arranged for the players to carry out passing rounds, seeking to refine the precision and circulation of the ball.
The end of the day was dedicated to tactics with conceptual rounds, a key exercise to internalize the movements and game philosophy that the coaching staff wishes to implement in the upcoming matches.
