The Democratic Center Party has officially announced the roadmap for the selection of its candidates who will participate in the interparty consultation scheduled for the month of March. The community will adhere to the electoral calendar, whose deadline for the registration of candidates is February 6, 2026.

For the election of its candidate(s), the party has determined that it will use any of the mechanisms established in its statutes.

This gives you flexibility to define the internal method (which may be a survey, convention, or agreement) most appropriate to designate the person or persons who will represent the Democratic Center in the consultation.

Beyond the internal selection process, the party reaffirmed its ideological position and its commitment to the country.

They will continue focused on explaining the inconvenience of “destructive neocommunism” and on the dissemination of their proposals for the “reconstruction of Colombia”, laying the foundations of their campaign speech.
