The Attorney General’s Office successfully prosecuted Juan Gabriel Villalobos for his alleged responsibility in the death of his mother, which occurred on December 7 in the Santa Bárbara neighborhood, in Yotoco, Valle del Cauca.

Initially, Villalobos reported to the authorities that the woman had died of natural causes, due to her deteriorating state of health and her physical limitations that prevented her from moving around. However, the technical inspection of the corpse carried out by the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) and the results of the autopsy revealed severe polytrauma in different parts of the body, as a result of blows.
