Cali is preparing for the end of year holidays, the Christmas Branch continues to prepare so that locals and visitors can enjoy the 68th version of the Cali Fair. According to data provided by Fabio Botero, manager of Corfecali, the assembly of the 19 modules is progressing to accommodate the public for the parades that take place during the fair.
The manager of Corfecali announced that “today we began the assembly of the stands on the Suroriental Highway that will cover the section between Carrera 53 and Carrera 39 in the south – north direction.” The stands will have an extension of 1.5 kilometers.

Botero added that “there we are going to be installing 19 bleacher modules this week, which will give us a total of approximately 13,000 seats.” Of this total, two modules will be free to the public.
The stands are ready for the fair events on the Suroriental Highway, which will be the Salsódromo (December 25), Fiestas de mi Pueblo (December 26), Parade of Classic and Antique Cars (December 27) and Cali Viejo Carnival (December 28).

Likewise, the manager of Corfecali assured that “this assembly will be completed more or less on December 23 and the dismantling of these stands will end on December 30.”

The structures are located on the right side from south to north.
The Fair will be scheduled from December 25 to 30, however, the activities on the Suroriental Highway will be until the 28th. In addition, there will be decentralized events throughout the city, such as in the Obrero neighborhood, the Plazoleta de San Francisco, the Pan-American Fields and the fair booths, as well as the Rural and Community Fair, which will take place in the 22 communes and 15 townships.
