Minute30.com .- The governor of Arauca, Renson Martínez Prada, was the victim of a serious attack this morning, Monday, November 10, when he was traveling in his vehicle on the road that connects Fortul with Tame.

Members of illegal armed groups attacked the van in which the governor was traveling, using long-range rifle weapons. Fortunately, both Governor Renson Martínez Prada and his security team were unharmed and are out of danger.

The president spoke from the municipality of Tame after the violent incident, strongly condemning the act. This attack highlights the complex public order situation and the constant threat from illegal armed groups operating in the department of Arauca.
