The Cali Mobility Secretariat reported that a special device will be implemented to guarantee order and vehicular circulation during Shakira’s concerts, which will take place on Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26 at the Pascual Guerrero stadium.

The plan includes temporary closures of roads, areas for public transport and a network of allied parking lots, in order to facilitate the movement of attendees and reduce the impact on nearby neighborhoods.
As explained by the Undersecretary of Mobility, Sergio Moncayo, the restrictions will begin around noon and will remain until the end of each concert, under the same conditions for both days.

Scheduled road closures

Closures will be established in the perimeter between Calles 5 and 9 and Carreras 6 and 50, at the following specific points:
• Calle 5 with Carrera 10 to the south, with detours over the bridge towards Carrera 10 and then along Calle 8 to Carrera 36A Bis (Templete).
• Carrera 36 between 5th and 6th Streets (Roosevelt Avenue).
• Carrera 34 between Calles 5 and 9.
• Roosevelt Avenue from Carrera 24 (and the Departmental Library) to 36A Bis.
• Carrera 15 with Calle 8, without access to Calle 5.
• Carrera 10 with Calle 5, without access to Calle 5.

These closures will allow safe pedestrian spaces on Roosevelt Avenue and will facilitate the entry and exit of attendees to the stadium.

An additional 50 buses and three special routes will be enabled that will connect the hotel, commercial and residential areas of the north, south and east of Cali.
