The Bogotá Police, in coordination with district authorities, carried out an operation in the Villa Ema neighborhood of the town of Bosa that resulted in the arrest of three people for different crimes and the seizure of several items.

Two of the detainees were captured by court order, while the third person was arrested for theft. During the operations, two traumatic type firearms were also seized and searches were carried out on more than 3,400 people and 234 vehicles and/or motorcycles.

As part of the intervention in commercial establishments, the authorities seized 16 bottles of adulterated liquor and 3,700 units of cigarettes. In addition, six stores were temporarily suspended because they did not have the required documentation to operate legally.

Lieutenant Colonel Oscar Chauta, commander of the Bosa Police Station, highlighted that these actions are part of a comprehensive inspection, surveillance and control plan focused on critical points affected by crimes such as homicide and extortion.

The authorities call on citizens to report any criminal act or act contrary to coexistence through Emergency Line 123, a key tool to strengthen the investigation and punishment processes for crime in the city.
