In a strategic alliance designed for the city’s mobility, the Medellín Metro announced that it will provide uninterrupted service this Saturday, November 29 and Sunday, November 30. This exceptional measure is taken to address the high influx of people who will attend the Hecho en Medellín – Ciudad Primavera concert by the artist J Balvin, which will take place at the Atanasio Girardot stadium.
The transportation company confirmed that it will have all its technical and human resources (trains, operating personnel and security) to operate “regardless of the time the presentation ends.” In this way, the system will combine Saturday’s operation with Sunday’s, the day on which the Metro also celebrates its 30th anniversary.
How will the extended operation work?
Starting at 11:00 pm on Saturday, when the system usually closes, the exclusive extension for Lines A and B will begin. It is essential that users take into account the following entry and exit restrictions:

Therefore, it is recommended to recharge the Cívica card in advance. Those who do not do so before that time will depend exclusively on the Automatic Refill Machines, which will operate continuously.
Metro Culture Standards
To ensure that the operation flows correctly and avoid delays in trains during the evacuation of the stadium, the entity remembers:
Do not obstruct the closing of the doors: This delays the entire operation.
Zero alcohol: Entry will not be allowed for people under the influence of alcoholic beverages or psychoactive substances.
Have the payment method ready: Speeds up passage through the turnstiles.
