A night of terror was experienced in the southeast of Cali, where an armed confrontation between criminal groups left a tragic result of two people dead and a motorcycle on fire.
The events took place on the night of last Tuesday, October 28, in the Mariano Ramos neighborhood, in the middle of a wake that was taking place in the sector.
According to the preliminary report of the Cali Metropolitan Police, the confrontation occurred between local criminal organizations that have been identified, tentatively, as ‘La 42’ and ‘El Hueco’.

Videos from security cameras captured the moment of panic when those attending the wake dispersed after the start of the exchange of gunfire.

According to information from local media, the fatalities are two people, one of them would be a minor of approximately 16 years old.
The authorities reported that investigations continue to clarify the exact reasons for the armed confrontation and determine the identities of the deceased. The Police have reinforced their presence in commune 16 to try to restore security after the violent episode.
