While the authorities attended to the discovery of a young Venezuelan woman dead in Robledo, a new bloody incident was reported in the Manrique Central neighborhood. A woman, who lived alone, was found dead inside her home with multiple stab wounds.

The body was discovered by her ex-partner, who, according to preliminary versions, would have been with her until late on Monday night. Upon noticing that the young woman was not answering his calls during the early hours and morning of this Tuesday, the man went to the house, finding the macabre scene.

The details of the discovery

The victim was lying on the floor, covered with a blanket. When she was uncovered, it was discovered that she was lying in a pool of blood.

Witnesses say that they were able to verify details that show the attacker’s viciousness; She had a deep and extensive cut on her neck, several sharp wounds on her face and it was also noted that the woman had a wound on the palm of her right hand, which could indicate that she tried to defend herself.

Two cases in one day

This fact adds to the discovery that occurred hours before in the Robledo sector, where another 20-year-old girl was found dead. So far in 2026, Medellín has already added two homicides of women under investigation for feminicide.

“We are facing a situation of maximum alert. In both cases, the victims were in the privacy of their homes and presented clear signs of violence,” judicial sources said unofficially.
