Minute30.com .- The governor of Antioquia, Andrés Julián Rendón, has announced a large reward to citizens for information that leads to the capture of those responsible for the arson at the Jaime Isaza Cadavid Polytechnic (JIC).
The president offered a reward of up to 100 million pesos for information that allows “identifying, capturing and prosecuting” those who set fire to a room inside the public higher education institution.
Rejection of Academic Terrorism
The Governor expressed his rejection of these acts of violence within the academy: “It cannot be that a few sow terror in a public higher education institution where thousands of young people go to train.”
The departmental administration thus seeks to guarantee the safety and tranquility of the Polytechnic educational community.
