Colombia has consolidated its dominance in the XX Bolivarian Games Ayacucho – Lima 2025, reaching this Wednesday, November 26, the impressive number of 49 gold medals, achieving a significant takeoff in the general medal table.

The day was particularly successful, with multiple gold medals in key disciplines such as archery, swimming, BMX Racing, squash, speed canoeing and fencing, demonstrating the extensive preparation and high competitive level of the national delegation in Peru.

Swimming closed its participation with a flourish at the Videna Aquatic Center, adding three new gold medals thanks to the outstanding performances of Samantha Baños, Frank Solano and the 4×100 meter mixed combined relay team.

With these triumphs, Colombia finished swimming in an outstanding manner, accumulating a total of 14 golds, 19 silvers and eight bronzes.

BMX Racing vibrated with the emotion of the triumphs of Juan José Velásquez and Valentina Muñoz, who, together with Sharid Fayad’s silver medal, ensured an outstanding culmination at the Costa Verde Pan American Complex.

Furthermore, the beginning of speed canoeing on La Arenilla beach in Callao was equally fruitful, providing two golds and one silver.

The victories came thanks to the pairs of Alejandro Rodríguez and Daniel Pacheco (C2 200 meters) and Diexe Molina together with Mónica Hincapié (K2 200 meters), strengthening the country’s leadership.
