Colombia experienced another intense and exciting day at the XX Bolivarian Games Ayacucho – Lima 2025, ensuring a true feast of medals.

These were distributed in disciplines such as karate, boxing, gymnastics, bowling, athletics, skateboarding and tennis, in addition to obtaining key classifications for tomorrow’s finals.

This performance further consolidated his leadership in the overall medal table. With 119 golds, 105 silvers and 70 bronzes, the tricolor delegation increases the distance with its closest competitor, Venezuela (87 golds), while Peru remains in third position with 59 golds.

Skateboarding and boxing shone with their own light for Colombia. On the track, Jazmín Álvarez won the title of Bolivarian champion in the women’s street, adding a gold of great value, complemented by the silver of Jhancarlos González and the bronzes in park.

In the ring, Camila Camilo (65 kg) and Diego Motoa (80 kg) were crowned champions, along with Yilmar González (60 kg) who won a top gold medal. The boxing harvest was completed with silver from Kely Benítez and José Viafara, as well as three bronzes.

Gymnastics and athletics were also dressed in gold and silver. In trampoline gymnastics, the duo of Nicole Castellanos and Anny Sánchez were proclaimed champions in women’s synchronized, adding another gold with the men’s duo of Diego Giraldo and Manuel Sierra.

In the tartan, the women’s 4×400 relay team closed the day with a flourish, while Camilo Chaverra and María Camila Maturana contributed silver and bronze.

These triumphs are added to those achieved in karate with the champion Valentina Zapata and the gold medal in mixed doubles tennis with María Paulina Pérez and Juan Sebastián Gómez.

Finally, the delegation assured promising news for the finals. In field tennis, the women’s (Lizarazo/Pérez) and men’s (Arcila/Gómez) doubles pairs won to advance to the dispute for gold against Peru.

The artistic swimming left a good expectation with Emily Minante leading the technical solo.

The final touch was baseball, where Colombia added its fifth consecutive victory by defeating Curacao 10-6, securing its place for the final on December 5 against the host team.

With such a consistent performance and the consolidated podium, Colombia confirms its dominance in the Ayacucho – Lima 2025 Bolivarian Games, demonstrating the quality of its athletes in a wide range of disciplines.

Expectations remain high for this Friday’s finals, where the delegation will seek to continue expanding its impressive collection of gold medals and consolidate its position at the top of the medal table.
