Minute30.com .- After the recent elections, Chile, long considered a bastion of the Latin American left, experienced a radical political turn. For the first time in history, the right has managed to obtain an absolute majority in both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate.
The new composition of the Chamber of Deputies reflects a clear dominance of the right-wing sector. Of the total seats:
Right: Obtained 79 positions (51% of the total).
Left: Reached 62 positions (40% of the total).
Center: It was left with 14 positions (9% of the total).

Dominion in the Senate
The trend continued in the Upper House. In the Senate, the right also secured a simple majority crucial for governability and the approval of laws:
Right: Got 27 senators.
Left: Secured 22 senators.
