Colombian cyclist Queen Saray Villegas placed ninth in the final of the BMX Freestyle Park that took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the Urban Cycling World Cup.
With an overall score of 70.80, the Colombian closed her participation in the international competition after a highly demanding day, competing against the best 11 riders in the world in the final instance.
Villegas had secured his place in the final a day earlier, after occupying box 11 in the general qualifying table with an overall mark of 77.76, the result of his runs of 81.04 and 74.48.
Already in the final, the Colombian was the second athlete to face the track in heat 1. During her first start she achieved a score of 70.80, which would ultimately be her definitive mark.
Six judges rated their performance based on trick difficulty, style, flow, execution, originality and versatility.

Villegas’ final result was affected in his second start. After a good start, the Colombian suffered a fall a few seconds before finishing her course, which resulted in a mark of 4.40 for that round.
Despite the incident, Queen Saray managed to maintain a position within the world’s top 10, a remarkable result considering that she had just finished eighth in the previous edition of the contest held in Abu Dhabi in 2024.
The competition was dominated by China, which claimed the top three positions with Sibei Sun (95.86), Jiaqi Sun (93.08) and Xiaotong Fan (92.10).
One fact to highlight was the performance of the American Hannah Roberts, one of the great favorites and champion of the five previous editions of the World Cup, who finished in tenth position.
Queen Saray Villegas’ ninth place confirms her constant presence among the elite of this discipline at a global level.
