A guarantee control judge imposed a security measure in the prison against Néider Gómez Castrillón, allegedly responsible for guarding the singer Miguel Ayala Galeano, son of the artist Giovanny Ayala, and his manager, Nicolás Pantoja, during his kidnapping in the south of Cauca.
According to the investigation carried out by a Gaula prosecutor, Gómez Castrillón would have served as the ‘jailer’ of the victims, keeping them captive in an artisanal construction located in the Chorritos village, in the municipality of La Sierra.
The Attorney General’s Office indicated that the terrifying photographs in which the two young men appeared barefoot, chained and wrapped in a blanket were taken from that place.

With these images, the kidnappers demanded from the families the sum of $5,000 million pesos for the release of the young people.
Néider Gómez Castrillón was captured flagrante delicto during the rescue operation carried out last Tuesday. In the procedure, the authorities seized two pistols, suppliers, 29 9 mm cartridges, a chain, padlocks and camouflage clothing.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged Gómez Castrillón with the crimes of aggravated extortionate kidnapping and manufacturing, trafficking and carrying of weapons for restricted use by the Armed Forces, charges that the detainee did not accept.
The investigative authorities linked the extortionate kidnapping of the young singer to a criminal network that would be at the service of the Carlos Patiño structure, one of the FARC dissidents with a wide presence in the south of Cauca, confirming the criminal and organized nature of the plagiarism.
