The Movistar Team unveiled this Thursday at the Palau de Les Arts in the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia its ambitious and renewed sports project for the 2026 season.

The historic squad, sponsored by Telefónica, presented a total of 56 cyclists that make up its structure, divided into the Men’s Team (WorldTour), the Women’s Team and the Development Team.

Colombian cycling will have a prominent representation in the blue squad, with the return and consolidation of key figures

One of them will be Nairo Quintana, the experienced Colombian champion who remains one of the leaders of the men’s WorldTour team.

Another is Einer Rubio, the young climber will continue to demonstrate his potential in the big races.

Likewise Diego Pescador, who joins the list of Colombian cyclists in the elite team, providing fresh blood and talent.

Also, Jhonatan Guatibonza who will be part of the Development Team, a clear sign of the Movistar Team’s commitment to training the country’s future stars. The event served to officially present the new jersey designed by GOBIK.

As for the men’s WorldTour squad, the international additions of Cian Uijtdebroeks (Belgium), Raúl García Pierna, Roger Adrià, Juanpe López (Spain) and Pavel Novák (Czech Republic) stand out, reinforcing the team’s competitiveness.

In the women’s team, the main novelty is the arrival of the Italian Francesca Barale, who joins figures such as the world time trial champion, Marlen Reusser.

Finally, the team confirmed the long-awaited return of the TBS documentary series ‘El Día Menos Consado’, whose fifth edition will premiere in 2026, bringing the public back closer to the internal life and emotions of the team.
