A new and embarrassing episode of violence shook the TransMilenio system in the last few hours, after a video went viral where a driver of a feeder bus was physically attacked by a passenger.
The events, which occurred before the astonished gaze of other users, were triggered by a dispute related to the use of the bus access ramp.
Apparently, the aggressor demanded that this platform be enabled and, when the worker refused, he decided to attack him with blows.
In the images, you can see how the aggressor throws several punches at the driver while he remains in his cabin. The tension increased to the point that a woman had to desperately intervene shouting: “Now, now, now!”, to prevent the beating from escalating.

Given the seriousness of the attack, the company TransMilenio SA issued an official statement categorically rejecting any act of violence against its collaborators.
The entity recalled that ramp accesses are for priority and exclusive use for people with disabilities or pregnant women, which is why it urged Bogota residents to respect safety protocols.
Currently, investigations are underway to fully identify the aggressor.
