Presidential candidate Paloma Valencia has revealed a central component of her government plan, proposing the creation of the “Low Altitude Economy” as an urgent need for Colombia. The initiative, presented through a teaser video on its social networks, seeks to integrate aerial innovation and drone technology as pillars to strengthen both the economy and national security.

In the video, the candidate shows her personal interest in the issue by stating: “I learned to operate drones and I know that one of the key economic policies of my government will be the low-altitude economy.”

According to Valencia, this policy is vital to modernize the country, pointing out the need to “get into the low-altitude economy” to take advantage of the potential of aerial technology.
