An operation by the GAULA of the National Police in San Antonio de Prado allowed the dismantling of a criminal structure dedicated to kidnapping and extortion, with the capture of nine people, including two alleged coordinators identified as ‘Orejas’ and ‘Camilo’.

The investigation, which lasted seven months, allowed the authorities to identify the way in which the group commits crimes, through financial demands and threats to merchants, residents, parking lots and civil works workers. The network, known as ‘El Limonar’, operated systematically to generate pressure and obtain illicit resources from its victims.
