During an operation carried out in the town of Suba, the National Police discovered the presence of three minors in liquor consumption establishments, one of them inside a place where paid sexual activities were provided.
Although the minor did not participate in these activities, his entry to these types of sites is prohibited by law. As a consequence, the establishment was suspended and the protocols for reestablishing the minor’s rights were activated.

In another part of the town, two teenagers, one of them fifteen years old, were found in an establishment where alcoholic beverages were sold. Apparently, they had entered with false documentation. After identity verification, the Police contacted his guardians and activated the corresponding protection protocols.

In accordance with the National Code of Citizen Security and Coexistence, article 38, whoever provides or distributes alcoholic beverages to minors may receive a type 4 fine, equivalent in 2025 to $759,200. Furthermore, if serious negligence is evident in the protection of minors, proceedings may be initiated that may even lead to the loss of custody.

During the same mega-occupation, in the Suba Rincón sector, the authorities found bottles of adulterated liquor, which led to the temporary suspension of the establishment for nine days.
The authorities reiterated the call to citizens to immediately report any situation that puts the integrity of children and adolescents at risk, or that affects coexistence, through Line 123. Timely reporting is key to protecting children and preventing crimes in the city.
