The Mayor’s Office of Medellín and the Metropolitan Police of the Aburrá Valley registered him in Aranjuez, deploying a control and registration operation.
The “authority and order” strategy focused on the Aranjuez, Berlin and Seville neighborhoods, with results that included everything from arrests to the seizure of vehicles and weapons.
The move began with more than 700 background checks and the exhaustive registration of 600 motorcycles and 100 automobiles, seeking to bring those who are “outside the law” to task.

The “sweep” in Aranjuez, the product of a detailed analysis of the criminal phenomena in the area, was forceful:

- 39 motorcycles were immobilized: Three of them were being used directly to commit thefts.
- Bladed weapons: 46 bladed weapons were seized, an “arsenal” that is now off the streets.
- Comparendums: they imposed more than 50 summonses for “behaviors contrary to coexistence”, a call for attention to those who do not respect the basic rules.
But the operation did not stop only in Aranjuez. At the same time, in other parts of Medellín, the Police continued their offensive:
20 captured in flagrante delicto, one captured by court order and one car and six motorcycles recovered.
