National gymnastics has concluded its outstanding participation in the XX Bolivarian Games Ayacucho – Lima 2025, held in Villa El Salvador, achieving multiple podiums in both trampoline and rhythmic gymnastics.

The delegation established itself as one of the powers in the region, demonstrating exceptional performance in both disciplines and surpassing its direct competitors.

The trampoline gymnastics team had an almost perfect daytime day, securing the Bolivarian title of the discipline with an impressive balance of four gold medals and two silver.

The golds came thanks to the synchronized pairs of Nicolle Castellanos and Anny Sánchez (female), and Manuel Sierra and Diego Giraldo (male).

Individually, Manuel Sierra (55.350) and Nicolle Castellanos (51.420) also led their respective events. In addition, silver was added in the mixed synchronized event (Nicolle Castellanos and Manuel Sierra) and in the women’s individual event with Anny Sánchez.

Regarding rhythmic gymnastics, the delegation added a total of eight medals (two gold, four silver and two bronze) throughout its competition.

National dominance in trampoline and rhythmic gymnastics of the Bolivarian Games

The two gold titles were achieved on Wednesday with Oriana Viñas in the individual All-around and in the team final.

This Thursday, Viñas continued to add medals with silver in hoop, clubs and individual ribbons, as well as a bronze in ball.

Also notable were the silver medals obtained by the team in the 3 balls and 2 rings competition and the bronze medal by Emiliana Vargas in the individual hoop competition.

With these results, national gymnastics has put a finishing touch to its performance in the 2025 Bolivarian Games, demonstrating its hegemony in trampoline gymnastics and its strong presence in rhythmic gymnastics.

The trampoline discipline took the Bolivarian title, leaving Venezuela and Bolivia in second and third place, respectively, while the rhythmic discipline closed its participation with a haul of eight medals.
