A serious traffic accident that occurred in the early hours of this Saturday, November 8, left at least six people injured, including a motorcyclist who suffered the amputation of his left arm, according to the preliminary report from the authorities.
The accident occurred around 5:59 in the morning on Cl. 62 with Carrera 85, a road that connects the Western tunnel to MedellĂn, near Robledo. A car and a motorcycle were involved in the incident, which collided in circumstances yet to be established.
According to the report, the motorcyclist suffered a serious injury to his left upper limb, for which he was immediately transferred to a healthcare center. His companion was also injured.

In addition, the four occupants of the private vehicle involved in the accident had injuries and were treated by emergency personnel at the scene.

The official report indicates that the emergency was attended to by traffic units and relief agencies.
Authorities are investigating the causes of the accident, which generated traffic congestion in the area during the early hours of the morning.
