Minute30.com .- The Minister of Labor, Antonio Sanguino, announced the taking of a precautionary measure to suspend work against the Club Deportivo Pereira FC. The decision is based on serious and repeated breaches by the club of Colombian labor legislation.

The inspection carried out by the Risaralda territorial department of the Ministry of Labor confirmed the delay in the payment of multiple obligations. Among them, the delay in salaries, bonuses, social benefits and mandatory contributions to the social security of club workers and contractors was verified.

Minister Sanguino was emphatic in pointing out that the suspension is preventive in nature. This measure will remain in force and will not be lifted until the sports institution certifies and demonstrates full compliance with all pending labor obligations with its staff.

This action seeks to guarantee the fundamental rights of the workers of the professional team and puts pressure on the management of Club Deportivo Pereira to immediately resolve its financial and labor crisis.
