The opulence shown on social networks by the Bogotá influencer known as ‘El Billetudo’ crashed against the National Transit Code on the Las Palmas road in Medellín.

His luxurious truck, painted gold, was intercepted and immediately taken to the yards by agents from the Ministry of Mobility, who identified multiple irregularities that led to the immobilization of the vehicle.

The events took place last Sunday night, at the height of the second viewpoint of the departmental corridor. A group of traffic guards noticed that the influencer was descending the road with the rear license plate of his truck covered by a sticker that bore his stage name: ‘El Billetudo’, a conduct expressly prohibited by law.

The three infractions and the verbal crossing

When stopping the vehicle, the agents requested the vehicle’s license plate. It was there that the second and most costly infraction was revealed: although the truck had been painted gold, the owner did not carry out the respective color change procedures required by the Ministry of Transportation. Crossing out the license plate, not recording the color change and refusing to show the documentation are three infractions that, according to the National Traffic Code, imply the immediate immobilization of the vehicle.

Upon hearing the news that his truck, with which he has gained recognition on social networks, would be withdrawn from circulation, the influencer engaged in a verbal exchange with one of the agents, even going so far as to disqualify him: “What agent are you going to be, you are a guard,” the content creator rebuked him.

The vehicle will remain immobilized until ‘El Billetudo’, influencer, completes the respective procedures, mainly the change of color on the license plate, before being able to continue his tours to attract followers with the display of his striking automobile.
